Catriona started learning how to play the piano at the tender age of two and completed her first piano exam by the time she was three! 

'I fell in love with the piano as I watched my beloved mother, Ita, give piano lessons to her own pupils. Following my concert debut at age 6 in Northern Ireland, I realised that I wanted to become a concert pianist'. 

Catriona was awarded an entrance scholarship to the Royal Irish Academy of Music where the ten hours round trip of travelling by bus to Dublin began. I have so many fond memories of spending time with my father who accompanied me every Saturday for my lessons.
